The forecast is for NE 10-20. Edgewater tends to have a bubble effect when the water is still cold, so I propose Sims Park in Euclid. If others are planning on the power plant, I'm up for that, too.

So who is going? Let me know.

My fears of a bubble effect at Edgewater turned out to be wrong. We got some great sailing done yesterday. About seven of us showed up. Hans, Chris and I went WAAAYYYY upwind and sailed inside the harbor. I got to show off in front of the passengers of the Nautica Queen!

Here is video I just uploaded:

Aww man, I knew that it was you guys when I saw the kites over the water. I got to Edgewater around 4 with my bro to test out a box kite we made for his Physics project. I put up my 5m Flow shortly after we got the box kite up in the air. What were you guys flying? I saw some big (15m?) red and white kite when we first got there and some other yellow one. Couldn't make out brands or models. Looked like you guys were tearing it up though!

This seems like a good way to draw all sorts of unnecessary attention from quite a few institutions who like to impose rules and regulations at any chance they get. i.e. FAA, Coast Guard, Harbor Master

Practice your upwinders at Headlands.
