I am coming home to Cleveland for the summer after graduating from Florida Atlantic University last week. I just started kiting here in Florida, and am looking to continue at home this summer. I live in Bay Village will be coaching at Edgewater yacht club all summer, so I am close to a few good beaches.

That said, two things:

1. I need a board. I have been borrowing an F-one directional for the past couple months, but I am looking for a good used board for $250 or less. I am 165 and flying a flexifoil atom 12 meter.

2. Who kites in the Cleveland area? Looking for some people to get out on the water with.

Will be home early next week... can't wait to be back !

The Cleveland shoreline is not what I would consider a beginner area. Look up the Cleveland locals (Joel, Jerry and Mark) so they can give you the details of riding spots and safety information before venturing out. East and West of Cleveland there are several more forgiving launches with beaches that Io would recommend.

Here is a link of some spots that Joel documented, which is pinned at the top of the Ohio Forum http://www.kiteus.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=113
