Detroit Kiteboarding is teaming up with Alize Travel of Brazil to bring you an opportunity for the kite experience of your dreams. For 9 days and 8 nights in November we will be venturing to the state of Ceara on the northern coast of Brazil where the wind blows 18-25kts daily, the water is 84 degrees, and the kite beach is your front yard!

The destination is Ihlo-do-Guajiru, an ecological and Kiteboarding paradise. Gujiru features flat-water lagoon riding as well as ocean waves with potential for long downwinders. The windy season brings a steady and strong breeze and you can expect to spend lots of time on your 9 and 12 meter kites. Check out .

Here’s the breakdown on this all inclusive adventure:

Leave Friday Nov. 7th – Return Saturday Nov. 15th
Transportation to and from the airport and all week long via rental cars
Stay in a pousada right on the beach
Enjoy a hearty breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Take advantage of local knowledge and a Portuguese speaking guide
Participate in kiteboard clinics and coastal downwinders
Get a Brazilian travel VISA that is good for 5 years

We’ll take care of all of this for only $1049. All you need to do is get there, currently flights are in the ballpark of $1500.

Book your spot soon to beat the October 1 signup deadline and get a full seasons worth of riding in Brazil!

The destination airport is Fortaleza (FOR).
Kyle can we drive down in your truck.

Wish I could go headed to Maui in November. Hoping next time we have more notice.

Kyle can we drive down in your truck.

That would be a heck of a Journey. Driving down east coast, into
mexico -- onto central america ..... crossing the crockodile infested Darian Gap.
Through the jungles of surinam and guyana all the way to brazil.
with a truck load of gear. One solid year of kiting / surfing / paddle boarding
where ever you could, camping every nite on the way there. Then six months
of staying in north eastern brazil.
........ Sounds like a great plan Doug. Now does your wife know
about it ?
That does sounds like a vicious trip! Live room for a machete and an M-16 in the Gearbox.

Kyle....I am devastated not to be able to go on this trip. My sister-in-law is getting married in Jamaica the 15th. I am sure there will be more oppurtunities in the future. That place sounds wicked. South America is a new frontier for me too. Count me in on the next one whether you go back to the same place or choose another. AC

PS Looking ahead I really want to plan a trip to Los Roques in Venezuela or to Hurghada, Egypt (or some other red sea destination.) I have heard magical things about these places and their flat water. wink.gif
