So what do you do if the wind is calm, you can't afford a nice boat, and you cant find someone to tow you around on a jet ski?

The only problem is that the wake is almost non-existent.

I remember seeing that thing being developed in the mid 90's. I don't think it is allowed on US lakes (unless it is a private lake). I can't imagine it being that great of a tow either, especially if there's any chop, plus you'd be pulling it around everywhere if you cut at all.

I remember seeing those back in the day also and thinking the same thing...if you edged hard you'd probably just pull the thing along with you.
