Yeah! We got a nice turn in the weather and the Meltdown kitefly is on for the 29th!

Looks like some moderate south winds on tap for the weekend and maybe a bit of snow on the way.

Representatives from Naish, Ozone, and Cabrinha will be on hand with all the fresh new gear including the Naish Element snowkite, Naish Torch with Shift system, Ozone Frenzy, Recon, North 5th Element, and K2 Cinch bindings.

Come on out to Dodge Park #4 and kick it!

What time on Saturday?

Primetime kitefly will be about Noon til 3:00. We'll be there getting set up around 11:00. Hopefully Mr. Wind will show up early.

I'm planning on being there, and want to stick around on Sunday, too.
Who is going to be riding where the next day? I'd like to try Lake St. Claire if the ice is good enough anywhere. I've been to Metro, Belle River and Mitchells in the summer.

Wicked!! Glad it's back on. Plus it will give us a chance to ride that fresh snow you guys got... before it melts! smile.gif

Where's the party Saturday night?
Where's everyone sleeping saturday night? Any suggestion?

At the days end we will head just up the street to the cozy confines of The Lodge Restuarant and Bar.

You are welcome to stay at my house, Ive got room for 3-5 in my humble abode - about 1/2 hr. drive from CassLk./Lodge. One bed, a couch, an air mattress. Or here are some hotels in the area:

Well no riding today. There was a hint of a breeze early and a Samurai got up but for the most part it was eerily calm and the only thing aloft was Saul's rc plane - acrobatic aeronautics with all sorts of power dives and loops. Nice turnout of kiters from around the region, it would have been a great session if we had wind.
