Kite Camp
August 21 and 22.
All day both days
Mackite is proud to be bringing a Broneah Kiteboarding Camp to Muskegon on this weekend. If you really want to become an instant kiteboarding, this is a tremendous way to learn. Matt and Keegan Myers will be giving you full time attention for 2 full days. You will progress from total novice to riding some tacks out and back. If you already ride but really want to get to the next level, this is a great way to go. The cost of the camp is $400 for the whole weekend. Space is limited so email Steve today to sign up or get more information. steve@mackite.com 1-800-622-4655 Ext 228

Matt and Keegan put everything they have into teaching new students the 'ropes'. I wish these camps were around when I started.

There have been some beach closure issues. One was 2 miles south of where we were riding in Muskegon. Here is a website to check local beaches in Michigan:

If anyone has any other websites that check local conditions - please post them.

Joe - Have you tried the 04 ProLimit waist harness? Otis loves his 03 one and I am trying out a few waists.

Any insight would be appreciated.

PS - windy in Muskegon but no swell.

Joe,

You suggested the Naish X kites for sizes under 16 and either the V or Xs for sizes over that. You were running a XXL kite the other day in Muskegon and I was curious what kites sizes you went with this year for your quiver.

I am running with a 10, 14, and 20 and like the spread. The gap between the 14 and 20 is pretty big but doable.
