You might want to check with the local authorities! Just to save you some headaches. If it is a state park run lake you might want to read the following!

Boblog tracked this down when Turtle got a email from an ohio kiter, he was told it was illegal to kite in ohio state parks and was told he couldn't kite!

It's BULLSHIT but they may try to keep you from kiting there.
From what I read...you could kite but not be allowed to get any air! What fun would that be?

Would be good to find out more about this.
