Yes, arrived yesterday and the first thing I see in the air are a couple Eclispe kites, Sweet. Today looks good SSE 10-15 and I see white caps. Heading out for my first ocean session of 2010.

How was it?

I live in Birmingham, but my inlaws are in NC. Just got back from Emerald Isle and finished my third lesson - loved it.

I have been assuming that there isn't anywhere to kite in AL other than the coast. I called a sailing outfit at Lake Guntersville and they said prob a no-go there. Any ideas if there is anywhere to kite other than heading for the coast?
