Here are the official results of the first ever KiteUS Kiteboarding Course Race held in East Tawas Michigan on Lake Huron Saturday August 23, 2008.

Place...Rider....................Points
1st......Jimbo Oldschoolski...1000
2nd......Erik Schubel...........750
3rd......Jerome Latapie........600
4th......John Wardwell.........450
5th......Rick Day.................300

..........Jerry Chalk..............100
..........Steve Martin...........100
..........Curtis Laurie............100
..........Terrie Boddaert........100
..........Dave Ford...............100
..........Doug Victor.............100

I think 2 to 3 different fleets or brackets of racers based on skill level is the way to go for our series. This will allow everyone to compete at their own level and ability.

Race II is scheduled for September 19-21, 2008 in Metro Detroit on Lake St Clair
Race III is scheduled for October 10-12, 2008 in Oscoda on Lake Huron

More details on both races to follow!

Course Racing it so kick A** and with the different fleets everyone can experience it!
