Hey all, I was kiteboarded for a couple weeks last year with a friends gear in the Baja (Mexico). Right now im going upwind pretty good and working on jumping.

I've never been kiting here in Ontario and was wondering what size/make of kites would be good to have in a quiver. I was thinking a 13m or so but i really dont know what to expect for winds here. Im living in London and the Ottawa Valley right now, so most of my kiting would be grand bend, or ottawa. So what sizes are you guys using around here? Any beginner advice would be apreciated. Also looking to buy a kite, bar and harness used, cheers

Grand Bend isn;t the best of places to learn in the waves, but it can be done.... If kiteing there between may 24 and sept first we ask people to kite at south beach , just so it doesn't get band for the locals.... Unless it is durning the week and no one is on the beach.

For kites a 14/10 or 9/8 or 6 would be a great quiver

Eclipse 14/10 thruster or 9 nano,8 thruster or a 6nano would have you out in everything

the nano is a great beginner kite to advance wave kite, the thruster is a great jumping kite and free ride..

and then about 127 to a 131 skywalker board....

If you want more info on the eclipse kites or the skywalker boards feel free to email me...

I have a perfect used 2007 Naish Torch III Quiver for you. My 2008 stuff is on its way, so I have to make room.
Hint - need cash to pay for the new stuff!!!

http://www.naishkites.com/2007/products/ki...ites_torch.html

10M & 14M complete with bar, lines, bag and pumps. 10M was only used like 5 times, the 14M might have 15 sessions on it. One Pump (Octopus) inflation, 5th line Shift Bar system.

I also have a 2007 Naish Custom Wide 139 board that I use for my light wind riding and it will work great for beginners.

If you are interested send me a PM and I can get you some pictures and work up a super special deal.

John
