Mark Your Calendar

KiteStock will be held on May 28, 2005 in Mitchell's Bay Ontario. This will be an all day event and the barg will be there to transport kiters out into the Bay so that they can kite on any wind direction. We are also hoping that Red Bull will be joining us for the day.

In the evening the party will be held at Bob's & Bouys resturant. The party will include good food, lots of beer, bands, Door Prizes and kite videos. Profits will be going to help support the Lake St. Clair Kiteboarding Association.

I will be posting a list of cabins and camping locations in Mitchell's Bay later.

I hope to see everyone there!

Cheers
April

There are several options for accommodations from hotels, rooms, cottages, and camping. Go to the following website for phone numbers and email addresses for these location. Everything is pretty much within walking distance of the beach & party location except Waterway Cabins.

http://www.mitchellsbay.com/Accomodations.html

When everything starts will depend entirely on the wind. We plan on starting in the morning, hopefully the wind agrees.

Hey Everyone
Some questions have been coming up about Kitestock I hope this answers all question.
Kitestock is not a competition, it is a kiteboarding festival intended to kick of our water season. However if the wind cooperates we may have a free style competion on Sat.
Our prizes are still coming in, but you can count on seeing prizes from Naish, Red Bull, Dakine, Surf Culture Canada etc.
Camping is not free if you intend to stay in Mitchell's Bay. Go to the following website for more information or to book your accommodation http://www.mitchellsbay.com/Accomodations.html .
You are more than welcome to bring any sliders or kickers you wish! Anything you can offer to make our event more interesting would be great!
During our daytime activities the only thing that you will need to pay for is the barge. There will be a $10.00 fee and because of the limited capacity you will need to pre-register for the use of the barge. (send us an email and see April when you arrive)
In the evening we will be going to Bob's & Buoys Restaurant, they will be providing us with a dinner and drink special. There will be a $2.00 cover charge for the party.
For pictures and video's of past events and barge trips go to the following links.

Please feel free to contact us with any other questions.
