Cool information in this section thank you. I will try snowkiting this winter if we get enough snow. I have a seat harness and was wondering if that will work over my ski pants. I have a marmot bib that is not to bulky. Should i consider buying a waist harness and wearing that over my jacket.

Last winter all I had to use was a Fusion seat harness. It worked fine over my ski pants, offered some limited protection from falls, and every session ended up full of snow/ice/slush between it and my pants.

I'm looking forward to trying my waist harness this winter, still concerned it will ride up a bit. But it would appear from the input I've been given by other locals, that this is not too much of an issue.
