Cool information in this section thank you. I will try snowkiting this winter if we get enough snow. I have a seat harness and was wondering if that will work over my ski pants. I have a marmot bib that is not to bulky. Should i consider buying a waist harness and wearing that over my jacket.

In Erie most kiteskiers use chest harnesses. Especially since they use quad line foils with handles instead of a bar, it helps in that when you are really leaning back against the power of the kite, you don't have to bend yourself in half to reach the handles which are by your knees. But with an inflated kite with a chicken loop or a sheetable foil a seat or waist harness should work fine.

They like to wear the harness over their inner layers, with the outer coat over it, with the harness hook sticking out of the zipper. You can see that in http://users.adelphia.net/~muliolis/Lee5.jpg
