Looks like a good day to get out. A few of us are heading to Avon Power Plant.

Conneaut was good but fluky in close. Very gusty and cold, but a blast none the less. It was Tom, Chuck,Randy,Cris from Pittsburg who was doing great for his third time out. He did get the face plant award for the day I dont think I have ever see one with that height! Outside the gap was good and the kiddie pond was all we could do. Some went through the gap and back around the lighthouse. Fun but cold.

After I left the Avon Power Plant yesterday I wen tto Sims, and the wind was much better there. It was stronger and smoother. Got some huge jumps off the waves and coming in on the smooth water between the swells.

I posted some pictures from Avon in the gallery.

And for Joel, there is good news and bad news.

First, The Good News

and now, The Bad News

Saul - I'll have to check those vids when I get home tonight. Nice pics!

Me, Saul, Jerry, Seth, Todd and Brad all 'rode' the power plant. The wind was lighter but smooth early then it picked up and went more east and got super gusty. Had a great time soaking up the sun drinkin PBRs on the beach licking the wounds from the past few days.

Finally made it back home at 5:30 or so and got a ring from Sandusky Luke who just showed up at the powerplant. So I told him to rig at huntington and I'd help him with his kite. So it was back to the beach. He was under juiced on his 11 so I gave him the Havoc to test drive. Couldn't resist, suited back up and scored one more session on the weekend.

I don't know who's been doing the wind dances around here recently but keep it up!!!!
