NOAA says E - ENE winds then next two days. If it doesn't go NE for Sims or the Edge you can launch at Huntington Beach in Bay this time of year (no crowd).

Joel,
Was that photo in the gallery of you flying a green 10m taken at whiskey island?

I sail our ten out of there and always thought that would be a good launch site if they
could keep the beach reasonably clear.

what do you think ?

Ya, I was showing my friend how to rig and fly a kite down there last night.

I rode Whiskey Island once late last fall. It is decent but there are quite a few hazards, no downwind bail out, boat traffic, Cuyahoga river water, barges and the airport. If anyone raised a stink about it they could shut down kiting there because of how close it is to the airport. The planes don't come in there nearly as low as a kite but Maui's main kite spot almost got shut down for the same reason.

I am going to be putting together a complete spots page once the front page of kiteOH is complete.

Also, the wind is still up, I'm going to try to score either a kite or a surf session after work.

Skunked....I made a rookie mistake tonight. Came home from work, saw the waves were still up on the bay boat club cam and there was no wind in Lakewood, unloaded the kite gear and put the surfboard in the car for a session. By the time I got to the powerplant the waves were gone but the wind was up. By the time I got back home the wind was at the crib. Had enough driving for one night and scrapped it. Hopefully tomorrow.
