I am in the second stage of researching this Sandboard concept. For anyone who has not heard yet, I want to buy/make/modify a board to run on the sand. My first attempt with a large skateboard base made of wood did not work. It needs to be larger!

A company in CA makes sandboards for downhill sand dune riding and they recommend a 120cm board for my weight on the sand. They have a little experience with kiting, but not much.

Does anyone have an old Snowboard of any size that I could have or buy for cheap? Kids, Woman’s, Small, Large, chipped and/or damaged will do

I am going to remove the bindings and add foot straps, so I don't need a board with bindings.

Not enough wind to ride on the water, ride on the beach! Tawas here I come.

Help a Turtle out!
