The Turtle will be present! I will get with my Detroit Possi rounded up and make some reservations soon. I am thinking we should fill a Parkside Cabin

I added this to the Events Calendar on www.KiteMI.com

See you in June!

Hi Everyone

KiteStock is quickly approaching (5 weeks to be exact) and as always finding accomodations at the bay is a challenge. I have booked several rooms and a cottage at Parkside Cabins (the beach is walking distance). These rooms are available for Fri & Sat. If interested contact me!

If you are planning on camping, Marine Park only has 14 campsites left. This year they have a 2 day min for Fri & Sat and the rate for the weekend is $76. You can contact them at (519) 354-8423
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT MARINE PARK, IS QUIET CAMPING!

You could also stay in Wallaceburg which is about a 15/20 min drive to Mitchell's Bay. Wallaceburg has 2 hotels/motels.
The Oaks Inn (519) 627-1433 or the Super 8 Motel (519) 627-0781

Camping or staying in your car at the beach is not an option, however if you decide to take that route don't tell the police that you are down for KiteStock when they come rapping at your window in the middle of the night! Last year a couple of people decided to try this and the township gave me a hard time about it when I called to get permission to set up the redbull tent on the beach. We would like to continue to use Mitchell's Bay for this event.

Tim & I will be staying at the bay this year, so we can be close to the action, so camping will not be available at our house.

I look forward to seeing everyone at KiteStock. If anyone needs any additional help getting accomodations please feel free to contact me (519) 919-7917 or amandeville@sympatico.ca or just pm me.
