we planned on riding Bocagrande for all the waves and kickers but that did not happen it was a pain cause i did not rent a car this year.
but i heard that boca grande is very good for wind direction on the island. plus its a pain to get out of the city from all the traffic

well just got back and all i can say is WOW windy season there.
i stayed at the holiday inn alright hotel for the buck. didnt really use the hotel much but o well.
I got there Saturday at 4 and could not wait any longer to get back on the water from this stupid winter season.
wish we lived in the warm weather season where its always windy.
i was greeted with 35 mph gusts from the east everyday i was there pretty much rode a 10 meter everyday. Only problem was i was always under powered and Very over powered no mater where i was on the island. The first day i rigged up i was too lazy to walk down to Fishermans hut which is about .25 mile from the holiday inn where i stayed at. so i decided to rig where all the hotels were at. not FUn all i can say. Probably the most gusty wind ive seen in my years of kiting. anyways i dont even know why i brought 3 kites 6 meter 13meter and 10 meter cause it was just a waste of space but o well.
It was really hard to ride cause of the gusty winds they had. everytime i would try to jump i would hit a big gust then all of a sudden the wind would just shut off but if i went down near the hotels a bit it would be alot more steady winds.
THe riders in aruba are awesome and i can see why. i talked to 1 kid that was riding for 1.5 years looked like ruben but it wasnt. forget his name im sure if u rode there u know him. every trick the locals throw were pretty crazy ive seen some guys kitelooping naish cults which i did not know you can do them on those kites.
The greatest moment i had there was the last night we rode we all decided to pitch in 20 bucks each and rent 2 huge spot lights theres a video on youtube which i will post in a few minutes of the event they throw every qtr season. we rode from dark till 2 am which i think we should do in michigan when we get a windy night day. Wouldnt be too much to rent 2 huge spot light and throw a huge nighttime party session. All the locals in the area all come down to the beach and throw a huge bash probably counted around 500 people watching the kites which i had alot of fun

i was suppose to go out west to BIg sky and see kyle and my buddy aldo but then i looked at the Lift ticket prices and figured wow i can prob goto aruba for the same price. i deffinetly wanna ride big sky very soon but i havent snowboarded on slopes in well over 5 years.
im a big Park rider spins and what not.
Ill be in aruba from jan 15- jan 24th at the palms beach area/ holiday inn. So far its just me staying in the hotel i have a wedding on the 19th.
If anyone is interested there are round trip airline tickets for 350 bucks if u wanna place to stay and wanna get away now is the perfect time.
i know safety rick was planning on coming out with me but with his passport situation who knows.
we got around 10 hotels with people staying in them for the wedding through out palms beach area.
get in contact with me

Anyone got a mountain board for cheap?
i really wanna start mountain boarding in the winter.
shit looks fun and i'd probably get more days of riding in the winter cause mother nature is stingy with the wind in the summer.
I know a bunch of fields near my house that are really big so i think i can use this to my advantage
message me
i got a couple bills to pay off but trying to save enough for one maybe i can go on the layaway plan and do payments

3/2 wetsuit still baby.
I went out 2 weeks ago and was ok still.
The feet actually were ok..
I could only go out for about 25 minutes till i had to go back in the car and warm up.
I dont think i could last more then 35 mins with a 3/2 wetsuit but then again its addiction.
Trying for 1 more day till snow baby!!!!!!!
Trying to shoot up to traverse city maybe this week or next if they still got that snow

havent really jumped big on it due to the fact i bought it near the end of the season.
133 is a perfect board for tricks for my weight and size.
just gotta try out new demos
and see what is good for you
