Are you the guy from Florida who I spoke with earlier this year?

By the looks of your screen name I'm guessing your looking for slicks which is Lake St Clair. There's a couple of small ones at Strawberry but we could get into The Nature Trail and hit the good ones.

Meeting place is the Selfridge DNR boat launch at the end of M-59 at 8:30 am. It's going to be 60 degrees so bring some rubber.

What are the details, I'm up for it. Conditions look great. email me @ briARCHinz@gmail.com

I think there should be a certification card for us Kiteboarders. After completion of lessons from a certified instructor, and maybe even a written test, one should recieve a certification card. This does one of many things...
1. Brings in $ for the sport
2. Gives a plausable cause for why someone who was not certified got hurt while preforming the sport, thus if this does happen at one of our public beaches the sport would still be able to be practiced at that beach
3. Scuba Diving has a Cetrification process that is proven to work
4. More people will get involved in the sport because of the fact that they know and understand that there is such a thing
5. Why not? What do we have to loose?

What do you think?
