2011 Flysurfer Flyboards Flyrace out Now at PBK.
Sweet Twin tip with one large retractable Fin approved for racing by the IKA.

This board is not just for Racing. It can also be used as a Lightwind board
and for heavier riders. When the fin is down it goes upwind like crazy....

looks like it could take out your nuts pretty fast

wow i heard rumours....... i guess its true

boarder pass is gonna be up and running this summer. hopefully by july.

the cable system (sesitec 2.0) comes from germany and with the volcano grounding flights it had to be shipped via boat, along with everything else that couldn't fly.

container left on friday after all the delays, so should be here soon enough, estimated start date of july 1st

keep up on facebook and you will know the details. i'm pretty stoked - just bought a new wakeboard (Watson hybrid) can't to use it

cab skate is abit big i think coming in at 120cm but it cuts through chop nice. its also like 10 lbs which is too heavy. you want some weight though so the board doesn't blow away when you ollie and do flip tricks

better alternative is a jellyfish custom skate. they are soooo sick and work really nice. they also have a formica bottom which is literally bomb proof, and they are just the right weight. also works great in light winds - most wakeskates need decent power to get going, but not these. http://www.jellyfishboards.com/home.aspx

the hyperlite phriction works too, but not nearly as well as the kite specific ones. you could always just build one too i suppose...

its also such a pain in the ass to launch a big kite like 14+ m when its not so light wind anymore, and the thing is folding in half like a soggy taco.

your kite performs a lot better when hard too, like viagra hard. you gotta pump that sucker up so its solid.

word.

i prefer wetsuits because i find them waaay more comfy. drysuit is good if your like kiting iceburgs, but even then a proper wetsuit and layered neoprene under will do the trick. ok it sucks getting out of a cold wetsuit in cold weather, but if you can get over that i find them a lot nicer.

also you can stretch the temperature range (for optimum functionality/warmth) of a wetsuit more than a drysuit. over 50 degrees air temp (about, and sunny) and you start sweating like mad in a drysuit.

but it's really a preference thing, but now that its only getting warmer i suggest a wetsuit. it's more fall riding that deserves the drysuit.

usually a 5/3 or similar full suit is good (make sure it's a steamer, which means all the seams are sealed), and a shorty for when it's warmer.
